Want to know more? Heerema.com. That was the banner on the side of the Semi-Submersible Installation vessel Hermod, Heerema had organized an open day to visit this large crane vessel. With it's two cranes (max. lift cap. 4000 ton and 5000 ton in tie back mode) it was an impessive site to see this vessel and make a tour on board. Also Heerema is looking for experienced as well as young graduate engineers who are seeking a carreer in the Offshore Industry.
The Avans Hogeschool in 's Hertogenbosch is the first college in the Netherlands that started this year with an Offshore minor in order to boost the need for young qualified Offshore engineers. More then 10 Dutch offshore companies give guest lecturers at the college to make the students aware of the interesting work presented by the Offshore Industry.
