Required: enthusiastic, motivated people, who want to work on something real

Last Wednesday, Richard Krabbendam, Heavy Lift Specialist at Jumbo Offshore, gave a guided tour on the new heavy transport vessel ms Fairplayer to the Rotterdam port press club Kyoto. The Fairplayer is the third in the series of four J-Class vessels and has been delivered by Damen’s shipyard in Romania at the end of August. The vessel is currently docked at Huisman in Schiedam, where two 900 ton cranes are being installed.

During the guided tour, Krabbendam pointed out that Jumbo is always interested in “enthusiastic, motivated employees, who are  looking for an adventurous and diverse job that is different from other jobs, and who want to be involved in a real product. We load, offload, lift and try to make heavy work light. Safety is very important to us.” Next to Jumbo, also Huisman is crying out for personnel.
