Monday 26 April 201028 april 2010: Navingo Maritime & Offshore Career Event 2010
On the 28th of April from 11.00 hrs till 19.00 hrs the fourth edition of the Navingo Maritime & Offshore Career Event will take place at the Beurs WTC (Rotterdam). This annual event is one of the biggest Dutch career events and the biggest career event in Rotterdam. The fourth edition is dominated by the 2010 increase of the labour market in the maritime and offshore sector.
At 11.30 hrs the event will be opened by Thessa Menssen, CFO of Havenbedrijf Rotterdam, in the Rotterdam Hall within the Beurs-WTC building.
During the event over 110 shipping companies, suppliers, shipbuilders and other maritime companies and institutes will show visitors their career- and educational opportunities. There will also be an interesting and versatile program of presentations for visitors to attend: between 11.30 hrs and 15.30 hrs several exhibitors will give presentations about their companies in the Leeuwen Rooms 1 and 2. In the KIVI NIRIA/MOCE Kubus (which can be found in the Exchange Hall) visitors can choose to attend presentations about interesting and recent maritime and offshore projects. After these presentations the CEO network drink will start at 16.30 hrs and will be opened by Jan Dekker, president of KIVI NIRIA. Visitors are also invited to visit the MaritiemeVacaturebank.nl-Kubus, where several HR professionals will be able to provide them with advice about for example the application process and their curriculum vitae.
Network drink
From 17.30 hrs till the end of the event at 19.00 hrs the traditional network drink will take place on the exhibition floor. Here visitors will get a chance to get better acquainted with the exhibitors’ career- and educational opportunities while enjoying a snack and a drink.
