Monday 5 January 2009Gazprom Names Head of Personnel Management Department
Pursuant to a Gazprom’s order, Elena Kasyan has been named as Head of the Company’s Personnel Management Department.
Elena Kasyanova was born in 1961 in Severomorsk, Murmansk Oblast. In 1987 she graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute named after V. I. Ulyanov, in 2004 -- the Russian Academy of State Service under the Russian Federation President, majoring in Psychology. E. Kasyanova holds a PhD degree in Psychology.
Elena Kasyanova has been in personnel management since 1990. In 2001 moved to Gazprom from the Baltic Pipeline System company, the Company’s subsidiary, to the position of Deputy Head of the Staff and Social Development Directorate -- Head of the Gazprom Administration Staff Development Division. In 2002 was appointed Deputy Head of the Gazprom Personnel Management Department. From 2004 E. Kasyanova served as Deputy Head of the Department -- Head of the Staff Directorate.
Boris Kuzmin, previously acting as Head of the Personnel Management Department, has been relieved of the post due to his retirement.
