Job description

The key expert 3 will have to work a minimum of 400 working days

Qualifications and skills:

  • University degree in Science and advanced professional qualification or equivalent
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of Russian would be an advantage
  • Solid understanding of the Kyoto Protocol and carbon markets / emission trading schemes
  • Good understanding of environmental legislation in NIS
  • Good communication skills

General professional experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the upstream oil & gas sector
  • A generalist with a broad understanding of all aspects of the exploration and production lifecycle
  • A background in environmental engineering rather than other environmental sciences is preferred.

Specific professional experience:

  • Extensive work experience in NIS would be an advantage
  • Experience in the selection and implementation of environmental
  • improvement projects would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience in CDM projects would be an advantage
  • Experience in working with IFIs would be an advantage
