Job description

As a member of the process design team at our DPS office in Leiden you will provide technical expertise (upstream/downstream) in process engineering for the engineering and design of large scale Industrial / Production facilities

Eductation level:
Academic Qualifications: BSc in Chemical Engineering or Biochemical Engineering or equivalent

Key Areas of Job Accountability:
During engineering project execution the process engineer (upstream / downstream) will be responsible for:

Process equipment and technology selection
Equipment manufacture oversight
Factory acceptance testing definition and execution
Process description, process flow diagram, P&ID development and equipment layout with the engineering contractor
Development with operations the key work practices and operating procedures for automation
Continuous improvement projects

Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to interact with and be part of multi disciplinary teams
Excellent technical and practical knowledge of upstream/downstream manufacturing equipment, processes and systems.
