Process Engineer

Job description

As a member of the process design team at our DPS office in Leiden you will provide technical expertise (upstream/downstream) in process engineering for the engineering and design of large scale Industrial / Production facilities

Eductation level:
Academic Qualifications: BSc in Chemical Engineering or Biochemical Engineering or equivalent

Key Areas of Job Accountability:
During engineering project execution the process engineer (upstream / downstream) will be responsible for:

• Process equipment and technology selection
  
• Equipment manufacture oversight
  
• Factory acceptance testing definition and execution
  
• Process description, process flow diagram, P&ID development and equipment layout with the engineering contractor
  
• Development with operations the key work practices and operating procedures for automation
  
• Continuous improvement projects

Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Excellent analytical skills
  
• Ability to interact with and be part of multi disciplinary teams
  
• Excellent technical and practical knowledge of upstream/downstream manufacturing equipment, processes and systems.
